Kevin Durant Gets Offered Political Position

June 13, 2016

Kevin Durant is a star for the Oklahoma City Thunder...For now. He becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer, which means he can sign with any team in the league.

To keep him in OKC, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin says she'd offer him a position in her Cabinet.

According to Tulsa World she said, "If Kevin Durant thinks about leaving, which I hope he doesn't -- Oklahoma loves Kevin Durant, and Kevin Durant loves Oklahoma. But if he'll stay, I'll make him a Cabinet person for health and fitness on my Cabinet."

It's an interesting offer, but considering it is a government job I can't imagine it pays as well as being a star in the NBA.
