Sleep Country Foster Kids Coat Drive

Over 20,000 Northwest children find themselves living in foster care at any given time, many of which have entered with little to no possessions. Help Sleep Country USA provide foster children with the little things that often make a big difference — school supplies and sports shoes, properly fitting clothing, or a gift during the holidays. With continued support, Sleep Country strives to help foster kids beat the odds. At the Sleep Country Foster Kids website, you can learn more. Not everyone can be a foster parent, but anyone can help a foster child.

Union Gospel Mission's LifeChange Center For Women & Children

Union Gospel Mission has expanded their services from serving adult women to also serving women with children by leasing a facility in the Beaverton area for this newly expanded program. This new location will provide a safe, healing home for women and women with children to escape homelessness, addiction and abuse. LifeChange for Women & Their Children will provide safe transitional housing, nutritious meals, counseling services, childcare and more. This will allow women to build healthy, new, productive lives and help to break generational cycles of poverty, homelessness and abuse. Click here for more information to make a donation.
